SUMMARY:April Anniversary GRO Ride – The Grand View Hotel\, Wentworth Falls
DESCRIPTION:GRO has been apart of the motorcycling community for over 20 years. We are calling past and present members and supporters to join us on the group’s anniversary ride. \nOur journey takes us through the scenic Blue Mountains via Bell’s Line of Road.  We’ll stop at The Fruit Bowl in Bilpin where we will enjoy the local apple pies during our morning tea break. \nOur journey continues through the mountains to Bell\, then along the Darling Causeway to Mount Victoria where we join the Great Western Highway.  Our lunch destination: Grand View Hotel in the picturesque village of Wentworth Falls. \nEVERYONE is welcome. \nPlease let us know if you are new to riding\, or want a buddy for the ride.  Bring friends! \n\n\nRIDE DETAILS SUMMARY \nDate: Sunday 7th April\, 2024 \nMeet: McDonalds\, Windsor Road\, MULGRAVE (enter from Groves Avenue) \nDestination:  The Grand View Hotel\, 174 Great Western Highway\, Wentworth Falls \nTime: meet by 9.30am\, ready for 9.50am departure briefing \nRegroup point / Coffee stop: The Fruit Bowl\, BILPIN \nRoute map:  https://goo.gl/maps/MtotJcBhmdyerHGu6 \nMenu: thegrandviewhotel.com/bistro \nWhy not take the time and indicate you are going by clicking the ‘going’ button on the Facebook Event Listing. \nIf you would like to join Girls Ride Out\, or renew your membership – the  Membership Renewal Form is available to download.  Please complete and e-mail back to girlsrideoutaustralia@gmail.com.  Please note this is a NEW email address for us. \nIf you pay by transfer\, please also e-mail your confirmation of payment.  Or bring cash along to the ride. \nRIDE ROUTE DESCRIPTION \nExit Maccas onto Windsor Road\, continue onto Bridge Street\, then cross the Hawkesbury River on Windsor Bridge at the roundabout\, take the 3rd exit onto Wilberforce Rd and continue into Wilberforce\, then left onto Singleton Road\, which becomes Putty Road\, Turn left onto E Kurrajong Road\, Turn left onto Comleroy Road\, Turn Right onto Roxanna Road\, Turn Left onto Mill Road\, At Traffic lights Turn Right onto Bells Line of Road \nStop/regroup at The Fruit Bowl\, Bilpin for approx 30 mins where apple pie will be provided for morning tea. \nContinue along Bells Line of Road to Bell\, turn left onto Darling Causeway to Mt Victoria.  Just before reaching the highway\, turn left at Harley Avenue\, then left onto the Great Western Highway \nContinue through a few mountain towns\, and to the other side of Wentworth Falls to The Grand View Hotel \nTurn right onto Dalrymple Avenue\, then right again into the hotel’s parking area. \nPlease make sure you have a full tank of fuel at the meet point.   \nEven though we have a great corner marker system in place\, it’s still easy to become lost so make yourself aware of the route.
