December GRO Ride – Bundanoon

Welcome to our December Ride details.
Kylie (usual ride leader) will not be riding this month as she managed to fracture her leg, however she will be a pillion (sidecar) passenger this time. Erica, with her bike and sidecar (and Kylie) will be lead rider and Kylie will be navigating.
We are heading down South through the Southern Highlands. We missed this destination last month due to the ride being cancelled because it was howling down with rain.
This month’s route will start at Narellan and head out to Burragorang look. We will then continue down through Thirlmere, Mittagong and Sutton Forest arriving at our lunch destination, Bundanoon Hotel.

Destination: Bundanoon Hotel, 6-18 Erith St, BUNDANOON NSW 2578
Time: meet by 9.30am, ready for 9.50am departure briefing
Regroup point: Burragorang Look out and Picnic Area

Ride route: (128kms approx 2 hours plus stops)
Turn Right on to George Hunter Drive, Turn Right on to Maxwell Pl, Turn Left on to Narellan Road.
Turn Right on to Camden ByPass, Continue on Old Hume Hwy/Remembrance Drive. Turn Right on to Burragorang Road, continue on to Mary Street through Roundabout, continue on to Burragorang Road, Turn Right onto Burragorang Lookout Road.
Arrive at Regroup Point – Burragorang Lookout and Picnic Area.
Resume Journey: Head east on Burragorang Lookout Road, continue on Burragorang Road, turn right onto Bakers Lodge Road.
Turn right on to Mowbray Park Road. Mowbray Park Road turns left and becomes Oaks Road.
At the roundabout take the third exit onto Barbour Road.
Continue onto W Parade.
Continue onto Wilson Drive, turn right at Church Ave
Continue onto Wattle St, turn left onto Pine Street
Turn right onto Azalea St,
Turn left onto Drapers Rd, Turn left to stay on Drapers Rd, Continue onto Orient St.
Turn left onto Badgery Street.
Turn right onto Railway Terrace, Railway Terrace turns slightly left and becomes Swan Street.
Turn right onto Old Hume Hwy/B73, Turn left onto Bowral Rd/B73 Continue to follow B73, Slight left onto Bong Bong St Go through 1 roundabout, At the roundabout, continue straight onto Moss Vale Rd, At the roundabout, continue straight to stay on Moss Vale Rd, Continue onto Argyle St,
At the roundabout, continue straight onto Argyle St/Illawarra Hwy/A48 Continue to follow Illawarra Hwy/A48,
Head south-east on Exeter Rd towards Nicholson St, Continue onto Bundanoon Rd,
Turn right onto Erith Street.
Our lunch destination Bundanoon Hotel, will be on the right.
