April Anniversary GRO Ride – The Grand View Hotel, Wentworth Falls

GRO has been apart of the motorcycling community for over 20 years. We are calling past and present members and supporters to join us on the group’s anniversary ride.
Our journey takes us through the scenic Blue Mountains via Bell’s Line of Road. We’ll stop at The Fruit Bowl in Bilpin where we will enjoy the local apple pies during our morning tea break.
Our journey continues through the mountains to Bell, then along the Darling Causeway to Mount Victoria where we join the Great Western Highway. Our lunch destination: Grand View Hotel in the picturesque village of Wentworth Falls.
EVERYONE is welcome.

Meet: McDonalds, Windsor Road, MULGRAVE (enter from Groves Avenue)
Destination: The Grand View Hotel, 174 Great Western Highway, Wentworth Falls
Time: meet by 9.30am, ready for 9.50am departure briefing

RIDE ROUTE DESCRIPTION
Exit Maccas onto Windsor Road, continue onto Bridge Street, then cross the Hawkesbury River on Windsor Bridge at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Wilberforce Rd and continue into Wilberforce, then left onto Singleton Road, which becomes Putty Road, Turn left onto E Kurrajong Road, Turn left onto Comleroy Road, Turn Right onto Roxanna Road, Turn Left onto Mill Road, At Traffic lights Turn Right onto Bells Line of Road
Stop/regroup at The Fruit Bowl, Bilpin for approx 30 mins where apple pie will be provided for morning tea.
Continue along Bells Line of Road to Bell, turn left onto Darling Causeway to Mt Victoria. Just before reaching the highway, turn left at Harley Avenue, then left onto the Great Western Highway
Continue through a few mountain towns, and to the other side of Wentworth Falls to The Grand View Hotel
Turn right onto Dalrymple Avenue, then right again into the hotel’s parking area.
Please make sure you have a full tank of fuel at the meet point.
Even though we have a great corner marker system in place, it’s still easy to become lost so make yourself aware of the route.
